D&R Basics is truly a family adventure! Our journey started early 2023 when we needed to find a better and more natural option for bath and skin products for our 7-year-old who is prone to eczema. To avoid painful allergic reactions, we began crafting our own natural bar soaps at home using Melt & Pour method. Melt & Pour was the most optimal option for us as our kids participate with us and are always around our creating endeavors. This journey of identifying the best possible product for our son's sensitive skin, led to a hobby of handcrafting, and creating other natural and luscious bath and body products.

As our skin conditions improved, we came to realize how toxins on the outside truly do affect us on the inside. How commercialized products could lead us to discover sensitivity to certain chemicals and how these products sometimes could contain ingredients that we can’t even name. This experience inspired me to share our journey - and products - with others. As we continue to receive positive feedback on our handcrafted products, we came to the realization that not only we can share our creations with friends and families, but we can also share with those that are interested in trying natural products and supporting a mom embarking in a small business adventure.

Our Handcrafted products are effective yet gentle. We have acquired the knowledge about the ingredients in the products we use on our bodies and continue to research. Each of our bars are labeled with the small list of ingredients we used to create them.
